Narcolepsy is a rare condition, but it’s not as uncommon as you might think. About 1 in 2000 people in the US is estimated to have narcolepsy. That means in Brazos County, which has a population of 223,000, there may be approximately 110 cases of narcolepsy. The challenge is recognition and diagnosis. It is thought that up to 50% of narcolepsy goes undiagnosed due to failure of recognition. https://ift.tt/1VMjaZw
