Can't sleep? Time to write your to-do list, study says

This is part of proper sleep hygiene. For those with psychophysiologic insomnia we have counseled setting aside a dedicated period of time, 10-20 minutes, to make a list or to worry about everything on your mind (today's tasks that were unfilled, tomorrow's tasks, kid's birthday party this weekend, picking up the dry cleaning, taking out trash, what have you). For some, without taking this time at night, all those thoughts, concerns and obligations come flooding into the mind as soon as our heads hit the pillow. So, set aside some time nightly to get your worries out of the way. http://ift.tt/1VMjaZw
