Handheld device detects heart attacks with one drop of blood

Quite interesting. Another company as a smartphone app which uses the high resolution camera to interpret a urine dipstick in order to determine if there is a urinary tract infection or blood in the urine.Others may detect evidence of asthma, abnormal blood sugar or a abnormal heart rhythm. Perhaps it is not long before such testing may be performed on a dongle which plugs into one's smart phone. Imagine being able to test yourself for some acute health conditions whether at home, in an airport, visiting Aunt Julia or half way across the globe on holiday--an urgent care lab in your pocket. http://ift.tt/1VMjaZw
