The future is promising for targeted skin cancer therapy. I am glad to see continued research at the state level. There are a number of "mole tracker" apps available to help you keep tabs on any skin lesion. Some apps may automatically scan size, borders, color, etc while setting the date of the scan and placing a reminder to recheck in one year. Check your app store. Using your phone's camera to take a simple photo is an option, but you'll have to manually set a re-check reminder on your calendar. Also, if using your camera to take a simple photo, remember to place an item beside the skin lesion for scale, such as a dime or tape measure. Use the same type of scale reference for future photos. As always, check with your doctor regarding any skin lesion which concerns you. http://ift.tt/1VMjaZw
