Dr. James Jude, Who Helped Develop Use of CPR, Dies at 87

Amazing that a technique I take for granted in my profession was only so recently discovered and applied to the benefit of mankind. Proud to stand on the shoulders of this humble giant.
from Rajesh Harrykissoon, MD Dr. Jude was a resident at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine when he recognized that external manual pressure could revive a stalled heart, a discovery that led to the widespread use of CPR.
