U.S. approves Medicare coverage for lung cancer screening

Medicare now covers lung cancer screening. Been awaiting this approval for a while. You are eligible for screening if: 1) Aged 55-77 2) Current smoker or it's been less than 15 years since you've quit 3) You have at least a 30 pack year history A pack year is the number of cigarette packs smoked daily multiplied by the number of years you've smoked (e.g. smoked 1 pack per day for 30 years or 2 packs per day for 15 years)
